Pay with Debit Card/Credit Cards
Updated 22 month ago
How do I pay with Card?
- Select the “Debit Card” option on the payment page.
Continue with a saved card or enter your card’s details (Card number, expiry date, cvv, billing country, billing address, billing city, billing state, postal/zip code) and click the Pay button.
You will be redirected to your card provider’s secure portal to authenticate the payment.
As soon as we receive your payment, your transfer will be processed and delivered to the recipient.
What type of card can I make payment with?
Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards are supported on the Send App.
Are there limitations to the use of cards?
You cannot make payment with a card that has been used by another Send App account.
You can make a maximum of 5 transactions per card per day.
Are there extra fees or hidden charges when paying with card?
You may get an additional charge for a transaction and it is usually due to one of the reasons below:
International processing fee: These are charges imposed by your bank when you use your card to make a purchase or to transfer money in a foreign currency. These fees are typically a percentage of the transaction amount or a fixed fee, and they vary depending on your bank’s policies. Send App has no control over these charges, and we recommend reaching out to your bank for further clarification.
Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC): This happens when your card’s local currency is different from the currency you chose to pay on the Send App. Your bank or payment processor will convert the card’s default currency to the currency you have requested to pay before releasing the funds. For example, using a USD card to pay GBP on the Send App. The exchange rate for this conversion is determined by your bank and this might attract an additional charge. To avoid this, we recommend paying with a card that uses the same currency as the one you are sending.
Please note that while we strive to provide a seamless remittance experience, fees imposed by banks are beyond our control. We recommend reviewing your bank’s fee structure and reaching out to them directly for further clarification on specific charges.
